Benjamin Simon Mutsvangwa"CHEF 60"Is a passionate and proficient Chef, businessman, footballer, photographer, an essential friend to both the young and old, a generous son and brother, a courageous leader, and a positive catalyst to society.

He invests most of his time in his established business "CHEF 60 Foods" to give a perfect illustration of how cooking and baking should be done through his well-articulated and innovative recipes. Simon, even with the knowledge gained over the years about cuisine still leaves room to learn and also inspire people who wish to venture into the cooking world.
While being such an influential person with day-to-day tasks to build a solid foundation for his endeavors he is always considerate of everyone around him making sure they're well-fed and assisted in all their needs. With almost half of his time spent on cooking and mastering his craft, he aspires to spread his knowledge and experience across the world with the most positive footprint, and that only being one of his many aspirations. Simon indeed is destined for greatness.

Simon chose to instigate his own business because he always felt like the large gap between the rich and poor was somewhat unfair depending on your perception. There was a lack of balance between the two parties which he understand is essential to keep the world going around.
The rich need the poor to be rich and the poor need the rich to survive or to get by but he wanted a way to try and bridge the gap or somewhat make it as if the gap does not matter or even exist and he felt the food was the solution! But what sparked the idea was the fact that her mother was a chef and she would always come back home with some goodies like chocolate to give them and it would bring great joy to them because they would be starving and nothing makes a person happier than a full stomach.

He then decided he wanted others to also have a taste of this feeling and that is when the idea was sparked. But it, later on, was born when he was in a Kota shop owned by one of his friends and he was assisting her and he sat there and just thought to himself, he would love having a business for himself and here we are now Chef 60 Foods.

Simon is urging the populace who just started their own business to never lose their focus or they’ll never be anything but everything. If you want to be somebody, you have to focus on being that person and also that motivation alone is not enough to keep you going but you need discipline. Discipline will wake you up even if you don’t feel like it. Same as your WHY is very important. Why do you need to get where you want to go, WHY should you keep going? Your WHY has to be very specific and very clear.

Simon deals with fear and doubt differently. He thrives on those two, he has grown to learn and understand that the things that he fears, and the doubt he gets from others or himself are evidence enough that he's doing the right thing. "Every day you’re faced with different personalities when you wake up, fear, doubt,&, etc. you decide which one you choose to carry you throughout your day. Choose life, and make sure you pray! Do declarations every single chance you get until those things are encrypted in your system." He always tells himself “I am the greatest chef to ever exist, Chef 60Foodss is the best food franchise, I am the head and not the tail, I am not a failure, my portion is a success, wealth, divine health &, etc”

Simon has daily routines he follows each day. He already said earlier, declaring that he's the best and he won’t settle for anything less. Prayer always works for him. We all have 24 hours a day, he uses him wisely. He let love leads, reads a chapter in a book, or listens to a podcast that will motivate him. He does something that is out of my comfort zone.
Simon has a great vision, he sees his business in five years to ten expanded. He said "It must have fed at least hundreds of thousands of households and provided for multiple charities. The goal is to bridge the gap between the poor and the rich. There must be multiple branches all over South Africa spreading out to the world."

Simon speaks out that his business looks different currently, compared to when it started. There have been a lot of improvements in the quality of video content they put out on the internet as compared to before. The ingredients they now utilize are more specific to the vision when they just did it for the sake of content. They also have more customers as compared to before. The team has grown quite a bit, especially the production side of things, also the digital marketing team.
Simon set his business apart from others in his industry. He said "Some people will go through life accepting everything. Then there are a different group of people who will go through life protecting their standards. they are those people, at Chef 60 Foods, who believe quality people deserve quality food and products. To help bridge that gap," it is essential to maximize our efforts to improve the quality of our food. It means protecting those standards, our standards."

Some people may consider the products a bit expensive but they believe if you want quality, you pay for quality. They are very self-aware and they try and make sure the customer service is done with much detail because they know how many franchises are now overlooking that nowadays. "This helps us better understand and have better relationships with our customers."
Simion lets out he didn't market his business when it was brand new. "Funny story, I did not market it but rather focused on the business and myself as an entrepreneur and ended up attracting the right people who then helped me market and improve the business." He believes that’s how it should be. "I don’t believe in going out there to fish without first equipping myself with the right tools. Take the time to learn and know what you want before going to war when you are not prepared."
Simon speaks out the hardest part of being an entrepreneur is the sacrifice. He feels that’s not spoken about enough."90% of the time you almost don’t know if you will make it out or if what you’re doing is worth it or is the correct thing but by faith and belief in yourself, you just have to keep going." It is almost like raising a child of your own, you have to put the child first before yourself and hope someday in the future the child will grow up and mature to a point where they’ll be able to look after themself and maybe you.

Simon speaks up that discipline is also one of the most difficult things to maintain, especially in the beginning because so many other business opportunities come and all look like they have the potential to succeed but you have to be disciplined enough to not move from what you’re doing even if it’s not going well at that moment and time.
Simon speaks one's mind his favorite part of being an entrepreneur is being his boss."I have always disliked being told what to do. Don’t get me wrong, I listen to the people above me. But I feel like when God made me, he created a leader. I love being in control of how my day goes and being in control of something bigger than myself." It gives him a sense of accomplishment and peace. He loves knowing that getting things right will secure his future generation a better future and life than the one he has now.
Simon thinks the qualities every entrepreneur should possess are a positive mindset, management skills, and leadership skills.
Positive mindset: "I guess for me it’ll be keeping a positive mindset. If you manage to always remain positive in a negative situation, you’ll always win.
Management skills: To control anyone else, you have to learn to control yourself. Master emotional intelligence. You cannot be moved by every little situation you experience in your business.
Leadership skills: lead by example. Know everything you do is being done in the light and people can see, especially the ones who follow you. Be honest with yourself and take ownership and also be open with the people who are close to you. They will help you get closure when you can’t be strong.

Simon has grown personally from being an entrepreneur, Situations have made him much wiser, situations like betrayal, losing close friends and family, etc. "I've learned that wiser assessments of situations will always carry you to your best days." He now pays close attention to the little things because those things grow too big later in life and will get harder to control or even see if not taken care of now.
Simon expresses that betrayal is definitely on top of the list of his biggest learning experiences in running a business. People will start to envy your progress. Because people will only support you as long as you are not doing better than them. He once saw a quote that changed his perception of life that said "If you have enough confidence to suggest something you want. You will likely find someone with low enough confidence to make it happen for you." He believes this’s the difference between the rich and poor, the CEO & Employee. Yin & Yang. Kota The Friend once said: “Everything in life requires dedication” Your career, your spirituality, and family, etc.
Running a business taught him that you are going to have days where you won’t have time for the little things you like, some relationships will collapse because of this but you should always remember to make sacrifices for the greater good. "I've learned there’s no limit to learning, I am even learning to be more patient, and open to ideas." Also that when you are rich and have power and influence, no one will want to correct you because 90% of those people, you’re paying them.
Simon is looking for an artist when outsourcing or hiring. Someone who expresses their passion and emotions through food. Someone with a heart for people. Someone who understands what it takes to get things done right. A perfectionist with humility. He believes in letting your work do the talking.
Simon will never compromise the quality of their products. "I am a bit of a perfectionist and this usually makes me obsessive about the little details. Everything has to be done right because if I won’t eat that food, I also would not expect anyone else to eat it." He concluded.
